Translucent starlight
Fights its way through the cold.
Winds try to push it away but can’t.
Its tenacity is powerful.
Its mission unstoppable but
despite its power to travel through the depths of the universe,
its journey of a trillion light years will end here,
Deep inside my dark brown eyes.

Since they say we are made up of the dust from stars…then it would seem that the journey was from starlight to starlight. 🙂
