Days End

The day ends in a

Summary of sunshine.

The drifting clouds

renew our hopes and

As we walk together in the evening breeze,

My hand finds yours.

The softness of shadows and illusions of magic at twilight

Remind us that although the road is long and sometimes difficult,

Our love, left to itself, will always bring us home,

each to the other.
